Diet tips for weight loss

Hey guys, I hope you’re well. I thought I would give you some diet tips for weight loss today.

I have a confession to make…

If you think Ben Coleman has an exotic new dish for breakfast every morning…

I’m sorry, but you couldn’t be more wrong…

I’ve eaten the same brekkie every single morning for the last 10 years…

Or should I say ‘inhaled’ because I’m always in a rush haha

Anyway, my morning breakfast ritual consists of porridge oats, water, and cinnamon.

Disappointing to hear I know.

I don’t particularly enjoy it, but there is a great reason for it…

I do it to avoid a little thing called decision fatigue. 

Decision fatigue is what happens when you have to make a lot of decisions throughout the day…

And as the day goes on, the quality of your choices gets worse and worse…

Things like what outfit will I wear today, what should I eat for breakfast, what drink should I bring, etc…

All these little things force you to make hundreds of little decisions a day gradually draining your mental capacity throughout the day…

A simple way to avoid this is to keep everything simple.

Wake up early…

Have your clothes laid out the night before…

A brekkie you enjoy that’s quick and easy to make…

And of course, we can’t forget a steaming hot cup of personality 🙂

This way, when you get to the later hours of the day…

You can still make quality decisions that won’t impact your life in a negative way.

The more choices you make throughout the day, the more tired you become mentally.
 

This could lead to binge eating, impulse buying, putting off some important tasks…
