There are two best times to start your fitness journey. The first, was the last time you told yourself “I’m going to lose weight and get fit.” But seeing as that opportunity has already passed, the second best time to start getting in shape is NOW!
Don’t overcomplicate your workouts. Keep it simple and start with a light jog, 10 push ups or go for a bike ride. Ease yourself into or back into fitness. Don’t try and run before you can walk… because what happens? You fall down.
Go shopping and fill up on lean foods and get rid of unhealthy foods in your house… your body won’t miss them, your mind might… but we can replace those thoughts with visions of being unstoppably ripped walking into the gym!
Alright… I overkilled it there a little but why not aim high? It’s not like it’s unachievable after all, it just takes hard work and consistency.
Believe in yourself! You are no different from anyone else. So, if they can get in shape, so can you. Embrace the challenge and live for the daily, weekly and monthly fitness goals you’re about to achieve.
Lastly, don’t give up. Ignore that stupid little voice inside your head telling you not to work out or telling you to skip your diet this week. Trust me, it works! I literally tell him to “SHUT UP!!” out loud (no joke) try it 😉
