With lockdown almost over across Surrey and London, people are starting to book holidays and staycations.
But who has their summer body ready?
Some would have been training to stay sane during lockdown… while others would have fallen off the wagon, put on weight and are now panicking that they can’t fit into last years bikini!
If this is you, don’t fear. I’m going to give you the best tip for weight loss and the key to getting your body ready in tip top shape for summer.
Believe it or not, weight loss is actually really simple. It’s all about energy balance. Energy in Vs. energy out. This simply means that we need to ensure we’re expending more energy (food/calories) than we’re consuming to lose weight efficiently.
This put simply, translates as ‘Move more and eat less’.
Try increasing your steps by adding 5 to 10k, go for regular bike rides, reduce your portion size and snacking on unhealthy foods. All these small things add up to the big picture and in a few weeks you’ll notice you start to lose weight and feel better in your skin.
