Making healthier, fitter habits.

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying ‘Change your habits, change your life

You see everything you do is a habit…

What you eat, whether you hit the gym, what you do after work, what time you wake up in the morning…

And there’s good habits and bad habits but all habits can be controlled.

I noticed this after one habit changed how I live my life, forever…

Years ago, when I first started working out.

I was doing all the right things in terms of lifting, form, planning, etc

But for some reason, I just wasn’t getting the results I wanted.

That’s when I came across the book “The Power Of Habit” by Charles Duhigg

This excellent little read opened my eyes to a whole new world…

That’s when I realised I wasn’t getting enough protein in my diet.

Even all my lifting buddies were sipping shakes after every workout, and me…

I was drinking water…

This got me thinking…

Imagine if I just changed this one aspect of my life…

I’d instantly get 20g more protein 5 times a week.

Fast forward a couple of weeks…

I was instantly feeling stronger, leaner, and happier with my training results.

100 grams worth of recovery, muscle growth, and progress from one tiny little habit.

My advice to change your habits is quite simple…

If you want to build a lasting habit, stack it with something you’re already doing.

If you brush your teeth every morning, habit stack that with a morning run.

After you workout, habit stack drinking a protein shake.

Doing something familiar before a new task will make it more likely to stick.

But wait I know what you’re probably thinking…

“Ben I’d love to do this but I don’t have any protein powder”

Haha not to worry, Mr Ben Coleman has got you covered.
