It all depends on the goal.

Let’s say the goal is weight loss…

As, lets be honest…

It usually is these days.

When thinking running Vs. walking with weight loss, It doesn’t matter either way.

What will matter is the amount of steps you’re doing (granted, running them would take less time) and your calories in Vs. calories out.

Running Vs. walking if the goal is to run a marathon…

This one is pretty obvious…

To get better and faster at running, we need to be running frequently.

If you have joint issues then walking would be a safer/less impactful way to exercise.
