THEY ARE WHATEVER YOU WANT THEM TO BE!! IF YOU WANT A BURGER, HAVE A BLOODY BURGER!!IF YOU THINK MY DIET IS SPOT ON 100% OF THE TIME, THEN YOU DEFINITELY DON’T KNOW ME VERY WELL!
I get these types of questions all the time…
CLIENT: “BENJI! WHEN CAN I HAVE A CHEAT MEAL?”
“YO B DAWG! WHEN IS IT OK TO HAVE A CHEAT DAY?”
ME: “WHENEVER YOU BLOOMIN’ WELL LIKE!”
We’re all human. We all get cravings. Most of us (myself included) enjoy food that may not benefit our diet plan or training regime. But what’s the point in life if you’re constantly restricting yourself from the things you love? That’s a recipe for a nervous breakdown right there ???? But how can you keep losing weight or achieving your fitness goals when you’re having a treat… or 5 every week?Simple – subtract those calories (cheat meals) from your remaining calories for the week ahead.Let me give you an example. If your daily calories are 1500 to create a deficit (to lose weight) multiply this by 7 (days). Now you have your weekly calories 10,500. let’s say it was Doris’s birthday on Saturday and you over indulged on cake and went over your daily calories by 600 we’ve all been there . All you need to do now is minus those 600 calories from the remaining days in the week. So for the next 6 days your calories should be more like 1400 calories per day. ️The art of keeping on track whilst enjoying the foods you love️
